Been in contact with breeders or folks with pups to give away or for sale. After a couple email exchanges, no further response from them. Rescue groups are hours away, so I guess will have to check in with local shelters etc. Looking for a lab or lab x. Duane

Repo did fine, little cool in the evening, but was fine in the morning running around. Burrowed into my sleeping bag early morning, I had to get him up and out come 630. Sorry, this site doesn't let me do photos, I don't use a off site vendor so don't have a url thingy.

Named him Repo huh. Nice 2 syllable name. Doesn't sound like you are disappointed anymore. Stoked for you! Hope you two get in lots of good adventures together.

A poster on nwhikers.net named her rescue dog The Used Dog. (Unfortunately, the Used Dog has passed on.) Repo sounds a lot better! Certainly much better with commands!

Had a lab mix(lab, chow, great dane, etc.)from shelter who shared many backpack and hiking trips with me over 16years but sadly died last Sept at age of 17. Three months ago went to shelter and found a wonderful 3yr old dog but neither shelter or my vet had a clue about breed(sssss). A real lovable mutt who thoroughly enjoys being outside. A big tendency to chase after any critter she sees so will need to keep on leash until trained.

Repo dog is doing great, little over a year old now. Jumps in the air for snowballs, cool moves, roots in the snow, looking for critters or what he thinks is there. Stays occupied mornings when he wants out of the tent at 3 or 4, whenever. Found a couple tennis balls back in December or when that car camp trip was. Good personality, seems would be real safe with kids as he loves people and dogs, needs to learn not everything likes him. Over 70 lbs. now. Good thing my canvas coats are tough, we rough house quite a bit. Gloves are critters to bite. Duane
