Planning a week long trip to the Cascade Valley Mid July and need a little help some of my route. I did this hike last year and very familiar with this area but I want to go a little off the trail here and there to create a different trip. I'll more then likely be solo and have my limits, no ropes. This is just a basic plan and and a list of my questionable routes.
Day 1
Drive to Mammoth
Camp at Coldwater Creek Campground or take a short hike and camp at Skelton or Barney Lake.
Day 2
Hike over Duck Pass and down Duck Creek to Fish Creek. Camp along Fish Creek or beyond. Might even hike up to Beetlebug Lake. Camp
Day 3
Hike to Beetlebug Lake, then backtrack on trail and over to Olive Lake. Camp there for the night.
Day 4
Hike over to Peter Pande Lake, then down to Brave Lake, then Fish Creek, and up Hortense Creek to the Lake. Camp
Day 5
Hike down and visit Tully Lake and work my way North cross country up to Franklin Lake. Camp there or at Ram Lake.
Day 6
Hike over Pika Pass to Pika Lake. Maybe Camp or Hike back to car..?
Day 7
May decide to stretch out the previous Days depending on routes??

??Down Duck Creek to Fish Creek??

??Up Hortense Creek to Hortense Lake??

??Tully Lake and North up to Franklin Lake??

??Over Pika Pass to Pika Lake??

Thanks for any advice you may have....
