Just wanted to say hi and thank you folks for all the great info here. After a very long absence from the woods, I have been doing some day hiking and really enjoying it. I spent much of my youth camping and hiking (I am an Eagle Scout) and am also ex- US Army Infantry Sargeant (85'-89'). These days, my pursuits are a bit more peaceful. I tend to eat mostly vegetarian and practice Zen Buddhism, and now, hiking through the trails here in CT.

Hi Keith, Welcome. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. FYI, to see Keith's pictures, click on the camera images on the map. And yes, it took me a minute to figure that out.

OY!, I didn't have my browser opened up all the way so I didn't see the box. A Homer Simpson moment. That photo was taken at Yosemite a couple of years ago. I'm wearing a TNF Baltoro (now called the Himalayan) parka.
