My wife and I had the opportunity on Friday night to snowshoe to a local winter hut and spend the night. It was a fun trip and my first time snowshoeing any distance in the dark pulling my pulk sled. I posted pictures on my blog here.

I love huts. Used them in NZ almost all the time. Too bad there aren't more of them here. The one you stayed in is pretty pricey, though. The ones in NZ vary according to amenities and are per person, not per hut like the one you were at.
