Looking through all these posts there is something that I haven't seen mentioned. What I call a "General health" card.
Basically every 6 months, (and before hiking season) I make up a card that outlines important medical information.
On the card I put:
The date the card was printed
My blood type
A contact Phone #
A list of important medical information. (i.e Asthmatic - Severe, No known medical allergies, Heart Murmur (VSD))
And anything else that could be important to know quickly( if you are on something that has a high chance of interacting, I would recommend noting that as well). I make sure to laminate it so that it will stand up to some wear and tear.
I print it on neon paper and it sits in front of my Drivers License. When hiking, I have the one in my wallet, and an additional one in the medkit.

A tent is a bad place for an argument, because when you are angry you walk out and slam the flap. How are you supposed to express your anger in this situation? Zip it up really quick? ~Mitch Hedberg
