Thought I'd let that old, unruly topic die (too many images) -- I couldn't find it anyway, and start a second one of odd sightings on recent hikes. Here's two taken while snowshoeing last week:

Shouting weasel wearing a fez below Mt. Sherman, CO.

and perhaps I need some therapy:

Emaciated prisoner pleading for food.

Bearded loon. (Lost Creek Wilderness, Pike Nat'l Forest, CO. 6/20/11.)

(My hiking buddy, Ringtail, said he thought it looked more like a merganser.)

Angel (or Gaea) looking down upon us and praying. (Moraine Park, RMNP, 6/29/11.

It seems to always be the gnarled old wood that brings up visons of animals. Maybe a pig?

Second one looks like a big angry polar bear in setting sun!

I see the bearded loon or whatever kind of bird it might be, but I also see Big Foot's toes right behind it (lower right corner). I actually saw those first, LOL! I guess I'm tuned in to seeing skeletal parts these days...
