Tell me what kind of trekking pole you use and you might just win a prize for the correct answer! I know it's weird, but just trust me.

Thanks everyone who responded...we have a winner...Kbennet! He won this:

I'm still using a long stick. Since I can't have the original 'give-away,' will you give me a two-person backpacking tent instead?

I had to try . . . <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Hey, I'm not geriatric, just slow to check out trekking poles! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> If you want to apologize for implying I'm ancient, you could still give me a tent . . . <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Ok, a straight answer....a converted ski pole. (conversion requires changing the name from 'ski' to "trekking" pole).

Did I win? Yes?! I rock!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

A discontinued pole. The Cascade Designs Treker3. Not a useful reply if they are no longer available.

However, I will say the TI Goat Adjustable Poles.

Edit: Just checked and the TI Goat Poles are out of stock. That is not a useful answer either.

Okay, II'm a sucker for a PM, Have been using old Leki Makalu trekking poles, but am in the process of coverting to a hickory stick, as I get older and more old fashioned.

I have a cheap swiss gear set I got at wal-mart for 13bux. Wanted to give them a try before spending more on a decent pair.

WE HAVE A WINNER!

The reason i made everyone tell me what pole they had is because i am testing this;

http://www.thestickpic.com/

I was sent two different sizes and only one fits. The Sticpic i was giving away is their #2 model that fits Leki, Ti-Goat, Fizan, Pacer, Gossamer and Hitec poles. Wow!...a $14.99 value...FREE!
Congradulations to Kbennet! You Just won! You were the first person to respond that had a pole that fits this model of Sticpic!

P.M. me your shipping info and i will sent it out asap!
