Just found this forum on a quest for information on Tweedsmuir park. Thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Mike aka Garage sale. An unfortunate name given me on the WCT about 25 years ago. Sadly it stuck so I have embraced it. Not that flattering for a person with OCD who prides himself on being organized, but it could be worse.

I have been a backpacker since I was 13, now retired and living off grid in the middle of nowhere we will be substantially increasing our hiking. First objective this spring is Tweedsmuir park. Which is how I found ya'll

Yes, the wonders of satellite internet and a generator. Our one luxury at the moment. Retiered very early and as a result very unprepared. Been a great winter though. First year off grid, learning a lot. Only hikes so far this winter have been on snowshoes exploring the old grease trails and trapper trails in the area.
