well, it took me almost 2 decades but i finally made it back to Washington. i am renting a cabin till winter in the tourist town of Index and it is quite a view! lots of beautiful hiking and backpacking trails that are kicking my Midwest butt, it feels good 
my hopes are to find a decent job in Seattle and then move to one of the islands or at least the pennisula to retire in about 5-10 years.
now if i could figure out how to change my handle to WaTiger... ha.
