Hamburger Helper singles

I have bought some Hamburger Helper microwave singles. I have tried them using the freezer bag method and they work OK except you should use a little less water than the box calls for. They taste OK but they are not exactly health food. They are cheap (~$3/4) at about 200 calories per serving.

Hmm. Singles eh? Haven't seen those here. yet. My usual complaint about hamburger helper as a backpacking meal is that while it works fine with dehydrated hamburger or soy/tvp stuff, there's way to
much food there unless you fiddle and split it up.

I've tried those for lunch at work. You're right, they're just OK. I think they have a lasagna version that I have yet to try. Definitly not a health food <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />.

Now yer' talkin' campfire lasagna <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> that's something I have'nt eaten out before <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Wonder if you could do it in a Bake Packer thingy <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> of course one has to have a Bake Packer thingy to do it <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Bakepacker for Hamburger Helper lasagne? no way man. that's a boil it an cozy it kind of meal. Don't need a bakepacker for that, unless you insist on browned cheese on top, in which case you're a higher maintenance princess than I <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
