On an earlier thread here someone mentioned adding freeze dried meat to the Knolls Sides. Is there a place online or better yet, in the grocery store, you can purchase freeze dried meat?

There are a number of places that sell freeze dried meat, you can find some on amazon. I've always used Packit Gourmet, a small business in Texas, iirc. Their meals are great too.

Emergency Essentials have freeze dried meats . I don't eat meat so can't comment on those, but I have used other Emergency Essential products and been satisfied.

I've noticed that the pandemic has created shortages in many freeze-dried items and driven up prices in instances where the items are available. I'm hoping this settles out soon.

I used to buy from Redwicks Freeze Dried and really liked them, but I don't think they are in business anymore.

They sold some really nice stuff like freeze dried steak and jumbo shrimp.
