Tough canoe - 11/06/09 01:32 AM

I had seen the pictures of a truck backing and smashing a Royalex canoe against a garage door, and it sprang back, so I wasn't too concerned when the guy on a forklift delivering pellets, drove the fork lift into my canoe. It just bounced back, minor scratch.

Its an Old Town Camper

That still gives you the right to go ballistic and demand a replacement. grin
I've seen those things wrapped around boulders and bridge piers, with the bow and stern touching in the current....towed off with a tractor, and rented out again the next day. I wish they made car body panels out of that stuff!!

It may appear to not have been damaged. What sometimes happens however is the Rx delaminates from the foam core or if hit hard enough the core is crushed or is cracked. Outwardly it looks good and undamaged, but what lurks inside? eek
