light biking pack?

Are there any lightweight hydration packs that people know about? The only models I've found that seem lighter than normal are Nathan Sports' racing vests, but I don't like their colors.

I use an ultralight day pack from REI that I pair with a platypus bladder, hose and bite valve. Way lighter than the dedicated packs from Camelbak and others.

I don't know what your definition of "lightweight" is but I use one of these on my bike commute to work. It takes a bladder and is also close fitting. The shape is even somewhat aerodynamic.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm buying a new Specialized Rockhopper Comp Disc and am trying to decide whether my current gear is good enough, or if I should use it as an excuse to upgrade what I have.

If you're married, use what you got until she gets over the cost of the bike! Upgrade the other stuff later...

I'm actually using wedding cash/gift certificates to pay for everything. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> She bought a much more reasonable Trek commuter.

I'll have to say that taking up lightweight hiking has helped in the bike gear department as well; I'm guessing my new setup will weigh noticeably less than my old 32 lb. rigid bike. I'll probably post my commuting/camping list once all's said & done.
