Hey anyone ever use the Jetboil flash Cooking System?

Don't have the Flash but do have a "regular" Jetboil. Works great!

Did you look at the MSR Windburner? It’s a similar system. I’ve used both Jetboil (several models) and the Windburner, and found the MSR to be a bit better in winds and strong breezes. In the end, though, I settled on a small canister stove (MSR Pocket Rocket 2) and small pot - the stove, pot, spoon, spark igniter, and a small packtowel weigh 9 or 10 ounces, which is lighter than either of the other systems, and I’m always able to find a log or a rock to use as a windbreak.

Yeah I checked it out. It's a little pricey. I really like the MSR Pocket Rocket though. Great reviews. Way cheaper too. I think that's the one I'm going to go with.

The outfit I ended up with was the Pocket Rocket 2 Mini Stove Kit (stove, pot, bowl.) I also got the MSR Handheld Piezo Igniter and MSR Folding Spoon to make the complete kit. So far, I’m very pleased with it. The pot makes a nice sized cup of tea or hot cocoa, and the bowl (like the one on the bottom of the Jetboil) will hold a single-serving meal, or a large bowl of soup or oatmeal.

I just ordered the kit for $80. Not bad at all.

Thanks!
