To Sur With Love and Ecuador, WTF? - 11/18/18 08:50 PM
The title of this story comes from the 1967 Sidney Poitier movie "To Sir With Love" about a teacher challenged by his unruly students. I believe climbing guides face similar challenges with their unruly clients. In this story, I hired a guide to haul me up the volcano Illiniza Sur, in Ecuador.
Although it's considered a technical climb, I think it's well within the capabilities of a hiker with some experience traveling on snow with ice axe and crampons.

You can also read about how Ecuador became a travel destination in this story.
Ecuador, WTF?
I hope you enjoy them.
Have Fun,
