Supposedly great first aid cream

I've never heard of this stuff, but the writer swears it's the best.

Every season back in my bike racing days I never wondered if I was going to fall or not. It was just a matter of how many times. "Road Rash" was a way of life. We treated the abrasions with copious amounts of Neosporin. They never dried out and we never let a scab form. This technique seemed to result in faster healing, less scarring and less chance of infection. If this stuff is better than Neosporin as they claim, it's well worth the high price.

I've had the best results on road rash using Silvadene, but it's not available over the counter.

This new stuff sounds interesting, despite the over-the-top name. I'll have to track some down.

I'm not kidding, regular honey is even better than neosporin. It is hard to believe, just try it sometime, you will be amazed. Even on burns. And it's multi-use.

remember though you only need use a tiny bit of a smear of honey, and cover the wound lightly to prevent getting the honey all over your clothes or elsewhere. Beekeepers have been using honey on ourselves for nigh on since the time of beekeeping origins I suspect. Honey stays moist and is anti viral, which is how the hive stays disease free save for mites. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
