9 dead in flashfllood - 07/16/17 08:04 PM

Just wanted to remind all to be careful when out.

9 dead in flsh flood

Water Wheel Fire and Medical District Fire Chief Ron Sattelmaier, "I wish there was a way from keeping people from getting in there during monsoon season. It happens every year. We've just been lucky something like this hasn't been this tragic,"

I want people informed and cautious, not restricted.
I understand the concern of people like Water Wheel Fire and Medical District Fire Chief Ron Sattelmaier, who have to fish the bodies out, but people should be free to take calculated risks.

Thoughts?

I am a regular to Southern Utah. I backpack about a month a year there. Canyons are my happy place. I never backpack in Monsoon season there
