This is practically like living in a Far Side cartoon. Isn't one plenty?

Is that cool or what! We see Cougar tracks in the Cascades and Olympic mountains in winter, but in all my years hiking have only seen one in person. I absolutely love the fact that we have wilderness land where these animals can thrive. I know of no cases locally where people have been attacked. (I know of cases in California, but none in Washington State). They are really deadly predators, thank heavens they shy away from us humans.

Good one! I thought it was going to be another one of those jump scare sites. I really dont like anything scary thats why I always carry a bright flashlight every time I go out camping. If youre looking for a flashlight, you should check this websites review.

Imagine them strolling near our tents. That could be a real nightmare

I'm doing a solo trip to a place called panther creek this weekend. Wish me luck. Jk, it's GA so it's a historical relic of a name. Though my last trip to a place called bear creek did have this happen...
