It's ashamed the old boy got killed that way, he should have known not to mess with that bear though. It's also ashamed the bear had to be killed. It's just sad.

But that guy who wrote the blog post on the second link is truly one sad sack of stuff.

I agree, I barely moved my mouse over that page and I need to wash my hands with industrial strength mechanics soap.

Maybe "appeal to authority"? but I definitely prefer the Click & Clack alternative. IIRC they're also proponants of the tactical Dope Slap, which I recommend vigorously in this instance.
