Shoes! UGH!

So I don't like shoes. I've been asking around about hiking shoes. I literally hate shoes. They hurt. If my feet get hot, I get hot and sick to my stomach. I really do prefer to be barefoot. However, can't always do that. I am a dog walker and use Xero shoes. They don't have enough tread for the rocky steep trek I would like to make. If you have any suggestions, that would be awesome!

Thank You!

If you haven't already tried them, take a look at the Altras. I've found that the Lone Peak (versions 3.5 and 5) are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. It took me a while to get used to the zero drop, but it sounds like you would have less trouble, since you're used to the Xero shoes and going barefoot.

I see Xero shoes also have trail runners.
