Searching Google Images for wood burning stoves, I came across this one :

New to me , looks like an interesting design and I like how it packs up.

I kind of wish that wood burning were a more practical alternative for the kind of hiking I do, because that stove looks very sweet. 10 ounces, compact, durable, and the fuel is free!

There doesn't seem to be any way for North Americans to get ahold of one, yet.

The interesting part for me is the squat larger design making it ( I assume...) better suited for two or three people than the Bushbuddy and the like
you can buy it and have it sent to the US from here :
http://wildstoves.co.uk/wood-gasifer-stoves/
50 pounds for the stove ,10 pounds postage , about 92 USD

BTW, I just figured out that it is less than an inch wider than the Bushbuddy, but it is wider...
Just over 5" compared to the 4 1/4 for the BB.

"Softies!"

Nice find, thanks for posting the link. He's not terribly "lightweight" but has certainly thought through his kit. The little stove impresses, for sure.

Think I understood about 75% of it. "Two peoples separated by a common language." smile

Softie = puffy
I must admit that when cold camping I wear a down jacket (puffy) and ski pants to bed.
BTW, puffy (spelled pouffy) in the UK is a derogatory term for gay.
