searching for info on foldup woodburning cookstove

I would be thankful for any info from folks who are familiar with a little folding wood burning cook stove I came across while web surfing a while back.I lost the link and can't seem to find it again.I believe it is made by a Swiss company and is a trapezoid?/triangular shape.I have been thinking of giving a wood burner a shot since where I camp there is an abundance of wood with no restrictions to speak of.I like the idea of having "fuel freedom",not having to depend on what I can carry.The weight saving is appealing as well but I am not sure if that would be canceled out somewhat with a wood burning unit possibly being heavier with more steel being used in construction than the lightweight burners most folks use.I have looked at a few models that were lightweight but they seemed cheaply made like something I could make myself. That is why I am searching for this particular unit since it seemed a bit more substantial and not as narrow,tall or tippy like most I have seen.I am aware of the pot blackening and possibly longer cook time because of fire prep but I think that is a reasonable trade off to not worry about fuel supply.Any opinions and experiences from anyone who has used a wood burner would be appreciated.Good people,good site!!

As far as the most efficient "foldup" woodburning stove I'd recommend the Caldera Cone with the "Inferno" wood burning adaptor. GOOGLE it and find out the details and view some videos.

This stove "unrolls" and lays flat. It's far more efficient than the folding type stoves.

That Caldera cone looks real nice too,thanks guys.The cone looks more efficient,not sure which would be more versatile which is important to me.

Bob at BPL UK has done some video clips on the Honey stove. Should be there somewhere. Very versatile...
When the Caldera Inferno was announced I made a temporary version (Ti outer and aluminium inner) just to see how it worked.
It is not too dissimilar from the Bushbuddy type stove. (IE: hot and clean burn)
I put the Nomad because that is the first of that type that I came across several years ago.

I like the Nimblewill Nomad Stove design. That's a great design for here in the Ozarks where fuel is practically everywhere. I definitely have to make one of those.

Me too, now that I have my Dremel tool repaired and put back together.

Make sure you don't make the Nimbleweed nomad out of thin aluminum. Don't ask how I know that.

Good point...
I make my play stoves out of aluminium but of course they rust and or melt away.
With the Nomad type design the walls would buckle after one or two burns.
