I have not used my MSR whisperlite for years because I find my canister stove (Primus Micro) lighter and it has worked just fine. I'm wondering if there are any liquid fueled stoves these days that are light enough to compare to my Primus Micro or a MSR Pocket Rocket. (3.5 ounces)

I think yer Whisperlight is about the lightest, short of something homemede.

MSR Simmerlite is about 10 ounces, including the windscreen. Haven't used it myself, but my buddy has one that he likes. However, he hasn't used it in a while; he's a full-scale convert to the Jetboil (and he's starting to tempt me a little, too.)
