Anyone else know the Pfaff 7550? Tips? Wow!

After bragging about my $99 Singer 6038 being as good as most any machine I have had some issues. Rather then having to McGyver things to make it work I can now just sew!

I found a killer deal on Craig'slist & we bartered for some cash and treatments at my Wellness Center. I paid less then half of what going price was on Ebay!

Now that I have this machine I was wondering if anyone else has one like it and can give me any pointers or "warnings". I'm sorda overwhelmed with the directions book. I can't wait to try and embroider my logo on everything. Sewing the quilt now will be a breeze!

Pfaff are a good make with a good rep. Stitch quality is excellent. Not hard to use, but...

Not all machines suit everyone, and Pfaff don't really suit me. When I was looking I went for my HV Lily instead, as it just fitted me better. Read the manual carefully, and try to get some lessons specific to that machine and machine embroidery in particular.

You will most likely find the built in walking foot to be the most useful function. Pfaff is a very nicely built machine. Best to just experiment with different needles and threads to get a feel for what you can do with it. You will not regret this purchase.
