Air mattress material uses - 08/04/13 05:52 AM
Hello all!
Glad to find a forum like this. I'm an outdoor educator in Oz, so I'm paid little and outdoors a lot, so I'm a big fan of gear repair and DIY kit.
I've got an old air mattress of the Lilo kind, pretty hardy material that has a decent sized hole in it. I'm not interested in repairing it because the thing is a pain to carry hiking, but it just about physically hurts to throw out such a seemingly useful material. Does anybody have any potential uses for this material? Or any reasons why it's not good for much?
Thanks!
