I have a Missing Link tent that I like, but it is both silicone coated and polyurethane coated. I have a bunch of excellent silnylon and I was wondering if anyone has made one similar to this or a "Baker Tent". My motive is to make a lighter version, using the tent I have as a pattern.

I realize that your reason for starting this thread may be that you want to make the tent, not merely own it. But, on the off chance that you just want a lighter version, and save the silnylon material for another project, MSR has reissued this tent (possibly with a couple of design tweaks) under the name Fast Stash. It lists a weight of about 3 pounds, but that may include a couple of aluminum poles.
