I found this to be an interesting idea, but I didn't test it and I'm not sure of it's practicality for LWBPing.
It's just another idea tool in the toolbox.

Interesting and fun thing to do this spring. I use a heine pot for heating water. I'll give it a try.

I've seen this before. Never tried it though. I'd file it under the same category of "starting fire with ice." ("You take a piece of ice and with your hands, mold it into a lens").
