The BIGFOOT Quilt - 09/17/08 06:18 AM

Here are pictures of my new quilt. Tim Marshall did a wonderful job based on my designs.

Did you use two layers of climashield? I like the quilt. How much?

Re: The BIGFOOT Quilt - 09/17/08 09:31 AM

Yes, two layers of Climashield were used. I asked MarshLaw to possibly produce a small number of these (say 50 units), for TLB members. A percentage of the sale will go to TLB site. He will be making other items for me soon, all based on my designs...i can't tell you what, but i am putting my own spin on some proven designs, as well as some brand new things If i can generate enough interest and keep the cost low, i would love to help everyone here get some quality gear at affordable prices. It's a labor of love, so to speak.

Sweet, and it'll help all of us who are sewing machine challenged obtain a quilt of known value. Great idea and charitable contribution to the TLB Forum Matt

Now if the guy making up Earthling's Fire Straws', will offer them for sale here, and also make a donation when some are sold, that would be cool I think he's planning on it from what I hear.

'Forum Gear' would allow a bunch of folks in all manner of shapes and sizes and regions to use the same gear and post their results. Could help to turnout some very nice region specific gear too.
