3034 km and 138.000 m elevation gain, this brand-new trail is crossing France from the Vosges to the Atlantic, passing through the alps, Pyrenees and many others hidden gems.

The path connect basically 47 GR (GREAT HIKE) that already exist, in order to create a continuing path from the border of Germany to the border of Spain.
80% of the trail is authorized to wild camp/bivouac and was optimized to spend most of the time in wilderness places

The starting season to hike it is starting now, around 300 hikers will be on the trail this year.

After having hike the PCT 3 years ago, I thru hike the hexatrek last year and it was a stunning experience.
