Indian chappatis (sic) just like Ghandi ate:

At home mix:
1 Cup flour (I use golden temple brand)
Salt & pepper to taste.

Double zip lock.
Pack along some Olive oil.

On trail:

Mix flour with enough water to make a stiff dough (apx 1/3 Cup) much like a pie crust. Kneed well (a dab of olive oil on the hands helps) place in zip lock. Optional, wait 1 hr, kneed again. Form dough into flat pieces, about 1/4 inch thick, smaller around than the insside diam of your pan. Heat skillet FIRST, add 1 to 2 Tbs Oil, brown bread on one side (apx 15 seconds) then other. Small brown spots will appear on bread, majority of bread will look much like pita. [for a more pita like poocket, add yeast, allow dough to sit in warm place, kneed, let sit, prepare as above]

Enjoy.

Hints:
Brush on olive oil or olive oil with garlic.
Peanut butter
Make a sandwich.
Save leftovers for breakfast, with a little honey.
