Every browser has its way to declare a site secure or not secure. Usually at or near the url address line. Your browser should now be declaring backpacking.net, litebackpacker.com and these backcountry forums as secure.

If your browser doesn't recognize these sites as secure, it would be a good idea to refresh your cookies for these sites, especially these forums.

For example, if you are using Google Chrome, everyone should see a green "padlock "Secure" and https:" on your browser url address line. ( You should NOT see a red "not secure". ) If you do not see the green padlock and secure sign, might be a good idea to delete browsing history and cookies of this site and re-login.

Regardless of the browser you are using, you can also refresh your cookies for these forums and then re-login following the steps below.

Go to:
(1) "Forum Help" on the main menu
(2) go to 5th item down on menu "Help! I'm having trouble logging in!"
(3) go to 5th item down on menu and click on "my cookies tool"
(4) here you can delete your cookies and then re-login.
(5) it works, I just tested it
