Well, after getting out in my old REI/Raichle boots last weekend, and noticing the lack of tread on them, I think maybe it's time to look for another pair. Does anybody in the SF Bay area (East Bay, if possible) know of anyplace besides REI that has a good number of different makes/models of women's boots to try on? I'm pretty hard to fit (wide and tall toe area, narrow easily blistered heels) so just don't want to chance mail order - I've returned several pairs to Sierra Trading Post that just didn't fit well (though they were the "right" size).

I've only gone to the Berkeley REI - do some of the local outlets have better selections than others?

I can have these resoled (did that with the previous pair) but it would be nice to find another pair that works for me, maybe even better fitting than these.

I would second trying Doms in Livermore--they are right down town
