Re: Eagle Cap in May?

Thanks, PackDog. This is the kind of feedback I was hoping for. We always take our Oregon vacation in May (we have a travel trailer) just to miss the crowds/bugs and to see wildflowers. I enjoy snow camping and had hoped that Eagle Cap would be a little quieter in May. I'll check out the bookstore in Joseph. I have Fred Barstad's book but am always on the lookout for more books. We stopped at a bookstore in Baker City and I found some good ones on Halfway and that is where I got my first map of Eagle Cap. Yes, the trip from Wallowa Lake to Halfway was the first thing that came to mind when I looked at a map.
