Yep, I think of gear as a part of a system. I have three hammocks and different top and bottom insulation and backpacks for each hammock

Yep, I was helping with an evacuation once and the SAR guy pointed out a place where a guy had died in an avalanche. There was about a 100' of 25 degree slope above a gully. A thick slab drove the guy into the gully and burried him. It was not a place that I would normally avoid.
