I just have a couple of quick comments. Wearing your shoes smaller than perfect will become more of a problem when you get older. Not only do your feet spread out some, but the padding on the bottom of your feet gets thinner. So a more near perfect fit will aid in the comfort department. Trail shoes do work better if the weather is okay" less weight on the feet is very important for endurance. Personally, I quickly change to my Lowe Renegades very quickly when winter arrives and the mud and snow and wet trails with mud puddles appear.
