I've been using the Fly Creek Platinum 1 and really like it so far. It's right at 2 pounds (or a few ounces lighter), and there is the issue about the drip line on the vestibule allowing water to drip inside the tent - but if you don't camp frequently in the rain, it's fine. I've been comfortable in it, and I always thought I was a dyed-in-the-wool side-entry guy. I may have been converted. (Of course, I've also got my Copper Spur UL1, just in case.)
