Board rules (found in the bar at the very bottom of the page) list a number of things newcomers can't do until they have been here a while and made 25 posts. Having a sig line is one. That policy came about because spammers love to make half a dozen short posts and then add a sig line with the spam link in it. Very few of them have enough patience to go a whole 25!

As you've found out, packlite, owner of this board, can make an exception.

BTW, I love your username and avatar. Brahms is one of my favorite composers!
