Well, I made a stove with a standard pop can and it took me a few trials to get it working right, but once I got it right it worked great. I was very impressed. Such a simple design, you just got to love it.

The Everclear makes a great fuel too.

Then I made another stove out of big (20oz) Busch Beer cans (and I didn't even have to drink the beer!) so the stove I'll be using is a little bigger than a standard soda pop can. I set one of those stainless steel "Apple Slicers" on top of the stove to use as a grate and lift the cooking vessel off the fire a bit to even out the heat.

Then I got a stainless steel "Tea Ball" and put some coarsely ground coffee in it and placed it in my Coleman Stainless Steel cup 3/4 filled with water, lit the stove, and placed the cup on the grate. It made amazingly good coffee, very quickly, and with little effort or fuss.

I may end up selling my Exponent stove. I just don't think I'll be using it anymore.
