Hi <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
I took a buddy and we 4wd into Irish Lake in the cascades 48 miles SW of Bend, Or. The last 4 miles take 45 minutes... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> and its a high usage road... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> We central Orygunners likes to 4wd doncha see... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Anyway here is a photo of buddies gear for an over nighter. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> We took two trips to the island to get our stuff there and a load of firewood. I wish I had a photo of my canoe loaded above the gun'ls bow to stern with fire wood. OK there WAS a spot for me to sit, but I had to push off and then crawl over the fire wood to the stern. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> good balance - poor planning <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

It did finally get down to 40 maybe. We were camped at 5385 feet at 43-48.28N, 121-57-38.79. I have inserted photos of this lake and island elsewhere.

I had my old Sierra Designs single walled Flash MAgic - after the flashlight design. I had some condensation inside, but then I carry a small towel for that reason.

I guess I had too warm of sleeping bag and I think I'd rather be cold than hot, so I mostly just slept on my Down Airmattress with my fleece jacket over me and my legs under the down bag as a quilt.
