That pic takes me back to about 1968 when I hiked down to Havasu Falls. I understand things have changed a bit since then due to recent flooding, travertine formations being washed away.

Thanks. Although Havasu is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, it is just one of many in the Grand Canyon. One rafting trip (paddle not motorized) through the Grand Canyon, gives you access to more of these places than most of us could see in a lifetime from the rim. The hiking from the river is extensive and not for the faint of heart.

I agree, I am an amateur photographer, WOW! Most of the most beautiful places to be seen are hard to get to. That's part of the beauty. If more people could make it, they would be the ones who would leave their trash!
