Is the Cuben on the botton side? The feedog may not be able to grab it if the machine is not industrial especially if the stuff on top has a higher friction amount. Can you explain more like how thick everything is or is it very thin? If the friction on top is greater than what the feed-dog friction is, and it's not a needle-feed machine there can be problems.
