Hello, I'm looking for some great links to reference homemade backpack gear.
I'm working on an addition to my site about homemade gear.

I will have my own ideas and welcome anyone elses ideas for low cost homemade gear.

Thanks, hope to hear from everyone

Jason here has a great site, as does Bill Fornshell/Gardenville. Not only should you give credit if you put things on your site, you should ask permission from the site owners first IMO.

Thanks Earthling! Hey Spiritwild, can we have a link to your site?

Here's a link to my clunky old DIY site. Maybe you can find something useful there but now I mostly just use my blog and youtube channel: http://www.freewebs.com/jasonklass/index.htm

Thanks for the offer Jason.
I have been to your site, I believe your the site with the survivor guy videos ?
I may be wrong, sorry.

They are quite entertaining

I don't have the "do it yourself" part of the site up yet.
My main page is:

Southern Indiana Trails

It's mainly just hiking and biking locally, but I love backpacking so I plan on adding an addition pretty soon.

Thanks for the link offer, I'll add you to my links page and to the new addition when it's complete.

Thanks again.
Tim

You might seek permission from zen stoves.

Henry shires has the instructions for his tarptent on his site and may still.

Hammock forums is a plethora of do it yourself information.

White blaze has lots of info - and member bashing

thanks for the links. I've been to white blaze, never really looked at the forum though.
I run a Ricky Rudd Nascar fan site, so I am very familiar with forum opinions and such.

I take it as entertainment value.

Thanks again.
