Thanks for the post... No amount of pic's or vid's can do that trail justice...

I agree!

But just in case you do want to watch more, here's the CDT playlist from my YouTube Channel:
Embrace The Brutality Short Films

And here's the playlist for the outtakes from Embrace The Brutality:

While the clip was too short, I saw several familiar scenes from Colorado and Wyoming, even though I've only been on a few short sections of the CDT!

Like the trail, I wish it could have been longer too!

People have really short attention spans nowadays, though. I've found that there's a huge dropoff in audience retention after the 5-minute mark, regardless of the content.

A 5-minute attention span is not going to get you very far on the CDT! Thank goodness those folks do not get off their chairs and crowd the trails.

just on a side note, great song for a soundtrack! I never heard of her before, but I immediately went to her website to see if she was touring anywhere near me (she's not). The music sounds a lot like Crooked Still to me, a fav of mine.

the last month or so I've been researching long distance trails (like cdt) and always wondered what the trail looks.. I have to wonder if the camera was on the whole time?

That's pretty cool, thanks for sharing it, Jester!!

Recognized a few areas along the way-Wind Rivers, Yellowstone. Ran into 3 guys on Battle Pass in southern Wyoming a few years back that were doing it. They said it was unbelievable!

It's definitely not on my list but it's an amazing trek for sure.
