Good morning!

First post! I had a question about some gear and I'm sure I turned to the right place.

Looking forward to buying a MSR Hubba NX for some solo trips & bikepacking but I've seen an updated color for the NX for 2015. It's a green color and available in the UK.

Anyone know if this color will be available for sale in the US?

Thank for your help & have a great one!

We get enough SEO spam around here from one-post posters that I removed the links you provided. I figured your question was simple enough that it could be answered without them.

On the theory that it's best to go to the horse's mouth, and knowing MSR/Cascade Design's outstanding customer service, I suggest you contact them directly. Their website still shows the 2014 models (gray fly). I suspect that any changes for 2015 won't show up until spring arrives.

Please let us know what you find out! Thanks!

Sorry for the links...first post!

Anyways, emailed Cascade Designs about 5 days ago and no reply as of yet.

Hope to hear something soon!

It's been a LONG time since I emailed Cascade Deigns twice and have yet to hear anything back.

Anyone else have a contrasting view of their customer service?

probably means the answer is no. Most csr's probably don't know the answer so they elevate the question. Higher level CSR's like to make people happy, so if they can't then the question doesn't get answered.

I've never had an issue with Cascade Designs responding to an email question within 24 hours - even when the answer was "no."

But, considering the number of different people who have claimed it happens, I certainly wouldn't say that my experience is typical. I have, however, found them willing to help whenever and however they can, including sending me a new little ball prefilter for my Miniworks filter when mine rocketed off the end of the hose into a very cold, very deep spot along the shore of Lake Superior. (It was operator error, and alcohol was not involved. And that's all I'm saying for fear of looking really stupid.)
