Ever wonder what happens to that gear you sold?

Sometimes it goes to heaven:

Formerly bigfoot's Warbonnet Blackbird Hammock:

Formerly OregonMouse's SMD Lunar Solo:

Hope I'm giving your seconds a good home guys wink

Thank you, phat! I'm glad you like the Lunar Solo! Are you still finding Hysson's (my dog) hair inside? (I did try, really hard, to clean the tent up!) On the other hand, the hair undoubtedly increases the R value! lol

Great Pics. Is the water in the lake warm enough (and deep enough) to swim out to the flat rocks?

I believe after about 4 trips to various places with various people and 3 or 4 washings, there is actually no more Hysson hair inside.. Took a while though wink

It's deep enough, and in some places you can wade.

I find it warm enough to swim in, and did. Although some who are not like me (Canadian, with obvious evolutionary ties to a walrus) informed me that upon contact with the water in the lake their nether regions reached into their throat and grabbed their vocal cords to ask the brain what it was doing subjecting them to what they had just been immersed in.

But most people are wimps smile

Oh, and by the way, you'll be happy to know that the reason that tent is in that place is that it was being used by someone who I was very happy to get up there - My Dad - he's 69 years young and managed that limestone lakes trip with us
(17 km, and 1300 meters of elevation gain to get there..)
