My doctor thinks I should give up drinking beer. I have no intention of it. I have I cut back. Yes < i drink more of the wine I make. Everything is killing us. Bottom line , we should all do what we deam best for us to enjoy?

Personally, I'd be a lot more afraid of the crap in the H1N1 vaccine than BPA in my freezer bags.. smile

With good reason - BPA is an issue with old skool Lexan, which freezer bags are not...

Food Saver emailed me back today. They say there bags would be ok to 170 degrees after that they would start to break down. How they can microwave in them I dont understand?

I think that the way every thing is "arranged" by the government, that if we did just the opposite of what they tell us we would be the safest. They have no concern for us what-so-ever and to think they would actually tell the truth about any product that they endorsed would be just under insane. If some of you have been doing freezer bag cooking and have had no negative affect, then either there is no harm in it or the harm would seem to be long term. Me myself, I am just not a risk taker. I did enough of that when I was a lot younger and got away with it (I think, any way) and I just don't like taking chances...sabre11004 thanks
