Gadgetech Registered: 11/28/08 Posts: 19 Loc: Upstate, SC	Has anyone ever been to this event or know much about it? I am trying to go with a local group but I may go in any case just to learn. Here's what the description is: 'This program is a must for backpackers or anyone who has ever dreamed of hiking the AT. Enjoy demonstrations and workshops by professionals and retailers on an assortment of backpacking gear, and take part in discussions on trip preparation. $3 parking. 706-265-1969. ' I also think there will be vendors there but I don't know that for sure.
