My report of my July 6-9, 2008 backpack with my youngest son and his two older children, AKA the "Superhikers," is posted on PortlandHikers.org. A lot of fun was had by all and some lessons were learned. This is a great place to go with kids, assuming you can survive the long drive frequently punctuated by the inevitable "Are we there yet?" This is the most northwestern point of the US, with a wild and wooly wilderness beach that is, nevertheless, a great place for kids.
