What's wrong with this search?

I am trying to find any topics on G4 Backpack, so I entered G4 in the search, no results. I can see my topics on the front page of MYOG.

Most search engines consider a two-character search term as too short for a meaningful search and consequently show no results. This is sometimes maddening, as in this instance.

Our local website, Oregonhikers.org (formerly Portlandhikers.org), has a weird search engine, too. For example, if you search for "Dog Mountain" (favorite wildflower destination here in May), it will tell you that those words are too common so it won't search. Grrr! Fortunately you can get around this by using google, as described above.
