Amazing, super-hydrophobic stuff - 06/25/13 01:58 AM

It has been almost a year since I have posted here, mainly because I have been in the middle east and not able to do much back packing BUT I saw this and immediately thought of this forum and its application to backpacking. It can treat anything including wood on concrete. I cannot wait to get back to the states and try it out for myself. Anyone here try it out yet?!!!

Wow, that's amazing. Never heard of this before (was just in a HD yesterday, darn it) so thanks for the heads-up!

Cheers,

BPL has been discussing this for a while on this thread.

I expect that will be a good place to look in not too many days/weeks to get some test data on how this will work in any sort of backpacking application, though it might take longer to be certain about things like durability, reaction to exposure to sunlight for extended periods, that sort of thing.

It's on my list to buy to try out for a couple of around-the-house projects anyway --- too cool not to play with a little!
